MTV'S BEHIND TOUGH ENOUGH - DVD Movie

If the complete seven-hour boxed set of the MTV/WWF reality-TV show Tough Enough isn't enough to satisfy your thirst, this "behind the scenes" program provides an additional 50 minutes of cut footage, plus contestant profiles and submission tapes. If you're looking for juicy interactions or more with WWF superstars, however, you won't find it here: This mostly works as a Cliff's Notes recap of the show, with added profanity tossed in. For example, the clips of Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H, Mick Foley, and others are the same as you see on the TV show. There are several amusing additions, however. The embarrassing qualifying videos, sent in by rejects with character names like "the Custodian," "Vampyre," and "Ice," are so ridiculously passionate and over-the-top that they almost make Behind Tough Enough worth watching. Almost... --Dave McCoy

~Two Camel Spotters~

~Two Camel Spotters~

Here we are North West Australia 1976 (WA) that's home behind us. Leo and I had been hitch hiking around Aussie and we ran outa money almost on the Northern Territory border, stuck in some little old dusty town. Woke up this particular morning with enough loot to buy one two litre coke and one loaf of bread and 20 cents left over for a phone call (help Mum). So we had breakfast on the beach under a tree and tossed the coin to see who was gonna call home for help. Leo won and off he went but he didn't call home ! some how he got us a job "unreal" infingcreadable said I ! what we doin? Weeell said Leo we got to pick up a Landrover some supplies and go look for CAMELS (YEP REAL CAMELS not the hairy noose type! no sir not a camel bite on us, real ones) Aaay so off we went to become certified Camel spotters of the first order. As we found out later there was a market over seas for these spitting beasts and our job was to go find them radio in and another group would go catch them. How come we got the job? well nobody wanted to spend weeks out in the desert and I could read a map and give positions (Army training) and not get that lost, easy now with a GPS!
So here we are at home resting from the outrageous ordeal of the desert, its tough looking for herds of smelly spitting camels in thousands of square miles, my girlfriend (in this town) made me wear that coloured tee shirt (not that it took much convincing) and also plated my hair into little tails with pink and blue bows then we would go to the Pub and wow the locals and visitors alike. Leo from Poland Den is Irish so we were both nicely mad, oh the joy of being young. We would work for about two months then head back to Perth for a bit of R&R.
We Camel spotted for about one year and then continued the journey around that Sun bleached country and finished back in Perth. Most of this is true except for the sentence that I left out.

I'm having trouble trying to stop laughing at some the things that happened to us I just can't bring myself to write at this moment. But when the mood hits me I shall post some pics and relate some experiences we had when laying railroad tracks in the middle of it all.

Oh just some thing else I remembered, my mustache was rather long (Fu Manchu ) and that was platted as well with one side blue and the other pink,

So, your boots aren't "hot" enough?
How about gold lining?
I couldn't stop giggling at how wild, decadent and just crazy this feature was.
We are supposed to be kinda gritty in our cowboy boots, but the deeper you get into boot collecting...the wilder and nuttier your boots get it seems. John Tongate articulated it very well, and I do interprete it here loosely..."We wouldn't be caught dead wearing a pink shirt..but we'll have the wildest colors and un-macho designs on our boots.."
Just nailed it.
We may be tough as dirt...but we love butterflies and will roll with gold lined boots.
Good stuff.
